OMI+ Verified Telescope Program

Is your telescope system sitting idle when it could be earning? The OMI+ Verified Telescope Program is for telescope owners and observatory operators who want their remote imaging systems in front of a wider astrophotography community. Through OMI Astro's rental platform, approved partner systems reach qualified imaging customers, put idle nights to work, and cover part of what the equipment and the site cost to run.

This application is how we review your equipment, site conditions, sample data, operating workflow and service commitments. What follows is: you apply, we review, we agree commercial terms, and we prepare the listing.

Revenue share is settled after the review and varies with equipment type, operating model, support responsibilities and how the system is listed. Partner share typically runs from 70% to 80% of eligible rental revenue, depending on the cooperation model agreed.

Agreement

I understand and agree that OMI Astro sets the final rental pricing for listed equipment, including standard rates, promotional pricing, member discounts and package pricing; that OMI Astro decides how partner equipment is displayed, categorised, recommended, ranked and promoted; that a listed system may be paused, hidden or removed at any time over quality concerns, operational issues, incomplete information or customer complaints; and that I will meet the response, operation and data-delivery commitments for accepted bookings.
